The opera Baan Huay Sarn Yaw Post Disaster School by Studio Vin Varavarn Architects, created in Chiang Rai, Thailand. Built after a serious seismic event that destroyed 73 schools, with simple materials, easy to dismantle and to replace if necessary elsewhere, it has seen the involvement of the community in its realization, so that its construction modality could be understood to then be able to pass on the acquired knowledge to others. The works shows a respectful relationship with the surrounding topography and landscape.and demonstrates that it is possible to design quality architecture even in these difficult circumstances, with very short realization times and no economic resources.
